Showing black and white transfer decoration depicting classical themes, set against a terracotta vermiculé ground, the underside bearing an impressed H for Herculaneum Potteries, Liverpool. Herculaneum Potteries produced wares for a relatively short period of time, from 1793-1841. A rare and attractive study piece, in fair condition with a few flakes \u0026 frits, no apparent cracks.
