A Very Rainbow Blanket is here! Please, find a free pattern below. For my colorful version I used a Scheepjes Metropolis pack with 80 x 10g mini skeins. But the pattern is a perfect stash buster – you can use all leftovers lying around your house. The pattern can be easily adjusted for any width and height. And you can also mix and match two mosaic patterns according to your taste. Hope you enjoy! Purchase a print-friendly version of A Very Rainbow Blanket pattern HERE on Ravelry and HERE on Etsy. The copy contains material list, pattern notes, charts, full written instructions and all step-by-step pictures in English US terms (a copy without pictures is also available to download). With no ads. And there is another version of the blanket using Scheepjes Stone Washed pack together with 12 x 50g balls of black Stone Washed. It was created by Laura Jackson. Check all notes about this version on Laura’s Ravelry page. And you can also order yarn for this version in her Taemombo shop (for US and Canada). Materials: Scheepjes Metropolis yarn pack (75% Merino Wool Extra Fine x 25% Nylon; 80x10g) 080 Hamburg x 1 ball (50g) 3.5mm hook, tapestry needle to weave in ends, scissors For two colored version I used two shades of Scheepjes Metropolis: Yarn A: 019 Marsielle x9 balls Yarn B: 024 Cota x8 balls Purchase yan in your local Scheepjes shop, or via online retailers: Wool Warehouse*, Black Sheep Wools (UK, international shipping) Caro’s Atelier* (NL and Europe) Taemombo (US and Canada) Gauge: 19 sts and 22 rows to measure 10 x 10 cm/4 x 4 in, blocked Size: Finished blanket measures approx. 105 x 145 cm/41.3 x 57”, blocked Abbreviations (US terms) ch chain stitch lp(s) loop(s) rep repeat sc single crochet sc2tog (single crochet 2 together): [insert hook in next st, yo, draw up a lp] x2, yo, pull through all three lps on hook ss slip stitch st(s) stitch(es) sp(s) space(s) prev previous yo yarn over the hook […] [rep instructions as many times as indicated] Special stitches mdc (mosaic double crochet): regular dc worked into skipped/unworked st from 3 rows below in front of chains; chains will stay behind mdc and will be skipped. Pattern Notes You can either follow the chart or written instructions. Use one color for 2 rows unless otherwise instructed and change color at the end of the row in last yo of the last st. Don’t cut the yarn, carry it up to next row. You’ll have floats of yarn along one edge. Make sure they don’t pull or are too loose. When one color (A or B) is over, attach next one from the list below: Yarn A: 80, 69, 1, 2, 3, 53, 49, 50, 54, 55, 6, 56, 15, 5, 4, 17, 70, 7, 10, 13, 12, 11, 9, 14, 18, 19, 23, 21, 22, 20, 16, 26, 27, 28, 29, 31, 32, 79. Yarn B: 35, 34, 39, 25, 73, 72, 68, 33, 48, 47, 77, 46, 76, 74, 75, 65, 64, 62, 42, 41, 57, 43, 58, 44, 45, 59, 51, 60, 52, 61, 67, 66, 63, 71, 24, 30, 78. How to Read the Chart Chart is read from bottom to top. Each row in chart represents two rows of same color. Odd rows are worked on the RS (1, 3, 5, etc) and are read from right to left. Even rows on WS (2, 4, 6, etc) are read back across from left to right. The first square of each row shows which color is used for 2 rows (1-2, 3-4, 5-6, etc). Each square of the chart shows 1 stitch or 1 skipped stitch. When squares of different color appear in the row, they should be skipped. So instead of working them, make the same number of chs as the number of skipped sts plus 1 ch. For 1 missed st you will have ch2. On RS rows, when you will crochet with a different color, you will make mdc in these skipped sts from three rows below. Mdc are only worked on RS rows and are always made in front of chains of previous rows, so the ch-sps are always skipped. On WS (even
numbered rows) you will only make sc and chs. Please note that sc are made in sts of the previous row, and chs are made over chs. With WS facing you, attach black yarn in BL of ss in any corner and continue to work around the entire blanket inserting hook into BL of ss. Rep from * four times, join with ss in first sc, don’t fasten off and continue working with ss through top lps of both sc rnds joining them together. When the join is finished, fasten off and weave in all ends. Congratulations! Your Very Rainbow Blanket is now finished! Large Dragon Potion Bottle Dice Bag Crochet Pattern, DnD, tabletop gaming, dice holder, crochet bag, magic, Dice Bag, Dragons
This listing is for an online crochet pattern, not a physical item. Let me know if you have any questions at all on the pattern! You will need a 3mm hook, worsted weight yarn, stitch marker, sewing needle, cardboard if you want a flat base, and beads if you want to decorate. This is an intermediate pattern for those that are familiar with amigurumi/stuffed toys. The potion bottle can comfortably hold 12 sets of dice, if you make the neck longer it can hold more. There is also a pattern for the dragon and instructions on combining the two. Since it is yarn the bottle can bend out of shape, I just fill my potion bottle up with dice or stuffing and it goes right back to shape. This pattern was made using 3mm hook but you can use whatever you are most comfortable with, but the bigger the hook the less it will keep it’s shape. If you crochet very loose you can go down a hook size. I use weight 4 yarn for the whole pattern. Have fun and let me know if you have any questions!!! You can sell anything you make with pattern, but please don’t sell or give away the pattern.
