A Simple Crochet Cross Crochet Pattern By Sara Sach of Posh Pooch Designs I made a bunch of these many years ago and gave them to my friends and family. I never wrote out the pattern, I just knew how to make them. A dear Friend asked me if I still had the pattern and could I show her how to make them or make a video. She wanted to make them for her Sunday school class for Easter. Because I love her so much, I did just that. I also wrote the pattern for those who prefer a written pattern. See the Video on my Youtube Crochet Channel at This LINK A Simple Crochet Cross Crochet Pattern By Sara Sach Please add this Crochet Pattern to Your Ravelry Favorites Skill: Easy Materials: Crochet Hook – H/ 5.00MM Yarn- Any Worsted Weight (4) Small Amount yarn Needle Stitches: Chain (ch) Slip Stitch (slst) Single crochet (sc) Space (sp) Size: 3 X 9 inches Pattern: R: 1 – Ch 5, Form in a circle *ch 10, slst in the ch5 sp* Repeat From * to * 2 more times, Ch 20, slst in the ch5 sp, R: 2 – *10 sc in the ch10 sp, slst in the ch 5 sp*, Repeat From * to * 2 more times, 20 sc in the ch20 sp, slst in the ch 5 sp, tie off. I want to thank the members of the Threadies Facebook group for testing this pattern for me. I was overwhelmed at the folks who took time from their busy lives to make this little cross and give me their feedback on the pattern (catching a few errors in the process!) Thanks to you all! Here are a few photos of crosses some of the members made: Morag Mackenzie was the first person to finish the cross and post a photo. Kath Baer had the same idea as me for photographing her little cross. I guess it is true, great minds do work alike!!! Carolyn Hirning-Edelen made this lovely little gold cross. She was the first person to find a mistake in the pattern! Copyright BellaCrochet 2017. All rights reserved. Abigail’s Blanket Sun Catcher Dish Cloth These dainty, bright, detailed dish cloths work up quickly and beautifully when using both acrylic or cotton yarns. Acrylic yarns create durable cloths with superior scrub-ability, while cotton cloths can be doubled as face cloths as well, adding an element of simple elegance or sunshiny fun! **************************************************** Thread-Crochet Cross Bookmark Create this traditional cross bookmark created with thread crochet for a special gift or yourself. Re-created for gifting, this pattern was created out of necessity as I could not find an original anywhere like it. Memories of book marks such as this go back as far as I can remember. BASIC CROCHETED HEADBAND FOR BABY This simple pattern for a basic headband works up quickly, and by following a few simple steps, can easily be adapted for any length and width desired. Any sized hook and co-coordinating yarn weight can be used creating varied looks specific to your needs! HERSHEY KISS HAT Perfect for photo props! Make this hat in a variety of different colors! This pattern as followed is designed to make a newborn hat using Red Heart Soft Yarn, a rather thin size 4 yarn. Using larger hooks and thicker yarns than called for will easily make a larger hat still in perfect proportion. Striped Baby Hat This pattern was a featured pattern on FaveCrafts Blog, and my debut pattern on allfreecrochet’s website when I was officially added to their list of crochet designers among others such as Drew Emborsky-The Crochet Dude, Maria Merlino, Michael Sellick, and Vickie Howell. Click here to read my featured article on Fave Crafts Blog when this pattern was first released. This pattern is especially easy for beginners to follow and end up with great results every time, but will sure to be a favorite for veteran crocheters alike! Simple Crochet Border This simple but elegant boarder can be crocheted directly onto a crocheted garment, or added as a little something extra, as shown here on this hanging wall calendar. Hot Pack Help soothe and relax those tight, achy muscles with this cute little hot pack. Microwave on high for 1-1/2 minutes and enjoy a long, warm, moist, soothing heat! Drawstring Tote Bag This versatile, playful tote bag was created using a bright, colorful cotton yarn. For occasions calling for a more elegant, refined look such as weddings, try using Caron’s Simply Soft in white or any other matching color. Adorn with one or a few crochet flowers in accent colors, or simply leave as is. Accessorizes beautifully!
