Do you find yourself slipping one doggy poo bag in your pocket when you take your dog for a walk, and hoping against hope that your dog will only poo once? Whenever I took this gamble, the darn dog would always decide to go twice. Most doggy poo bag holders that you can buy break very easily, sending you back to the olden days of shoving poo bags in your pockets. I designed this bag holder to not only be adorable, but sturdy! You can make it out of your favorite fabric and be sure that it will last. You’ll feel confident and stress-free when you go on your next walk, knowing that your dog poo bags are right at your fingertips whenever you need them. Finished size: 1 1/2” tall, 1 1/2” wide, and 3” long Easily fits a standard roll of doggy poo bags Materials: 1/4 yard or fat quarter of medium weight canvas 1 – 4” zipper 1 – 5/16” grommet 1 – 1/2” swivel clasp -or- 1” ring Small piece of heavyweight interfacing This is an intermediate sewing pattern, which assumes you have basic sewing knowledge. This pattern includes zipper and grommet insertion; you’ll need a zipper foot for your sewing machine and tools for inserting the grommet. The instant download is an 8-page PDF. The last page is a template for the pattern piece. You can print it, cut it out, and trace it to cut your fabric pieces. The measurements of the pattern piece are also included in case you don’t have access to a printer. I designed this bag for my puppy that got tired quickly on walks to the park. Later on, I found I can use it on many occasions. Easy foldable I make sure to take it with me daily. Ideal to use any time of the day when I need to quickly and safely transport my little fur baby! Alternatively the bag can be used as a regular shoulder bag!
