This is a pattern for a viking hat / helmet, crocheted from medium 4 sized yarn. The pattern is written in US terms, with abbreviations and 80 colorful photos to help illustrate the steps. DIFFICULTY: advanced beginner (simple stitches, a lot of assembly/sewing) SIZES: Newborn 0-3 months 3-6 months 6-12 months 1-3 years 3-10 years 10+ years / small adult regular adult XL adult This is a crochet pattern for a horned viking helmet. The pattern is written, abbreviated in parts (with explanations) and features 80 color photos to further illustrated steps of the pattern. It comes with 9 different sizes from newborn to XL adult, all sizes come with their own two-page pattern. The hat can easily be customized with different colors, the horns attached higher or lower or turned upside down, lengthened or shortened, etc. I used Bernat Super Value to create the pattern, but any medium 4 size yarn will work out just fine as long as the gauge is correct.
