Knitting Pattern – Long Fingerless Gloves Mitts Arm Warmers – Knit in the Round

Knitting Pattern - Long Fingerless Gloves Mitts Arm Warmers - Knit in the Round

Made with large double pointed needles, 5.5 mm (US size 8) with worsted weight yarn, these fingerless gloves are super fast to make if you know how to knit in the round. And really, knitting in the round isn’t difficult. But darn it! It does look impressive when you’re knitting something using four needles. Not gonna lie. If you wound up here thinking you were buying a finished pair, sorry. It’s for the pattern only. But good news! You can buy a finished pair here – https://www.etsy.com/ca/shop/KweenBee?ref=related\u0026listing_id=1162053755\u0026section_id=35027156 But also, thank you for taking a look at my latest knitting pattern for adults on Etsy! First, I’d like to let you know that this pattern is written out in full on my website here – https://bit.ly/3fsv0WA You can copy and paste that into your search bar and it will take you right there 😉 I’m listing this at a very low price in case you’d like to save yourself the trouble of the ad supported pattern and download it from here. But back to the pattern particulars…because this is such a plain design, you can use any variety of colours to make these look awesome. Dare I say my favourite – variegated yarn – did wonders here… I really like how the splotching effect worked for the double cuff and how random the colours appeared when making the plain purl cuff with the beginning purl round. Yes, that’s right! You can make two styles of this glove with one pattern. These also are a great stash buster. You can use up the smaller quantities of yarn from other projects to make stripes. The purchase of this pattern allows you to make and sell the gloves, but you may not redistribute or resell this pattern. NOTE: This listing is for the PDF PATTERN, written in American terms and not the actual arm warmers. NOTE: Lion Brand has discontinued their Amazing yarn, which I used for this pattern! You can find that brand right here on Etsy if you type it in the search bar. Any worsted weight (4) will work for this pattern and size 7 needles. This is the perfect gift for men, women, teens, boys and girls. You can easily get one pair of warmers from one skein of yarn. Great project to use up your stash from sock to worsted weight yarn. Knit them in the round or on straight needles. Instructions for both are in the pattern. No thumb hole, but you cold easily add a simple slit for one. I used 4 double point needles to knit them in the round. Great as a gift to use your yummy yarn and not very costly as you can get a pair of warmers from one skein of yarn. Perfect teacher, hostess or secret santa gift! I’ll have piles of these under my tree this year as gifts for everyone from the mailman to my hair stylist. *Make them long to go up past your elbow to wear with a t-shirt. *Make them shorter to just go up your coat sleeve. *Keeps your fingers free to text (not while driving!), drink your morning coffee or tailgating at the football games. *Perfect to hold your hot cup of chocolate at the bonfire! *Make one even shorter to slide up your portable coffee mug! *Whether you are small and petite, or “fluffy” like me, the same arm warmers will fit you both. This is an easy, beginner pattern. Great project for car trips, waiting for the kids after school or at practice! This is a copyright pattern!
