Stylish and cozy, I’ve called the pattern ‘Double Basket-weave’ because the design is different on both sides – it really is reversible and the effect on both sides is beautifully textured and three-dimensional – it’s derived from Irish aran knitting which I love because it reminds me of home! This is a great knitting pattern for an improving beginner, but also satisfying for an experienced knitter – Captivating in its simplicity, this pattern may keep you knitting through the night! Finished Dimensions: 36” x 29” (91.50cms x 74cms). * Knits up in no time – The only stitches involved are Knit and Purl! Some experience of reading patterns will help but the terms used are simple and everything is explained at the start To make the Blanket you will need:- 875yds (800mts) of any worsted or aran yarn. 1 x pair of US size 7 knitting needles (4.5mm). I used straight, long needles, but you could always use a circular needle and work back and forth in rows if you prefer. 1 x tapestry needle to tidy the ends away. This pattern is a digital file and will be available for you immediately once payment has been received. This may take 5-10minutes in some cases so please be patient with the download. The downloads can be accessed in your Purchases, and you will need to have ADOBE programme on your computer to be able to read the file.
