DIGITAL DOWNLOAD! – not a finished product Welcome to the Six Stitch Sweater pattern! This is a pattern for beginners looking to try out different stitches in one garment. The sweater is split up into 4 main sections. The back and two front panels are knitted flat and then the two balloon style sleeves knitted in the round. They are then sewn up using the mattress stitch technique and to end with, picking up and knitting a wide rib collar finish. Skills needed: Basic Knit \u0026 Purl Picking up stitches Mattress stitch for sewing up at the end (lots of YouTube tutorials available!) Tools: 15mm circular needles with 60cm cable Tapestry Needle for sewing up at the end Stitch Marker Yarn: Wool and the Gang – ‘Crazy Sexy Wool’ 200g = 80m Super Chunky 4wpi 2 (2, 3) skeins of Salt \u0026 Pepper 2 (2, 2) skeins of Rocky Grey 2 (3, 3) skeins of Eagle Grey If choosing one colour of this yarn or similar you would need: 5 (6, 7) 200g skeins If you would like a longer sweater, make sure to have more yarn of rocky grey, or the colour that will be in stockinette and Andalusian stitch. STITCH PATTERNS FOR KNITTING
This is a listing for a PDF digital pattern not a physical product. The Hazy Skies Sweater is cropped with big puffy sleeves and has a unique texture covering both the body and sleeves. The texture is made by a simple design of knit and purl stitches which makes this pattern perfect for beginners, but still interesting enough for more experienced knitters. This sweater is made up of one front panel, one back panel, two sleeve panels and a neckline that is knit by picking up stitches around the collar. All the panels are knit separately and seamed together.
