‘But First, Coffee!’ Needlework Pattern for Instant Download ☆ The Design: The inspiration for this piece was a competition to be featured in The Makers Movement Magazine, the brief was simply ‘Morning’ and you had to produce a piece of art which summarized mornings to you. Now having a little baby who is very much an early bird despite waking up numerous times a night, mornings in our house are a bit fuzzy to say the least, hence the ‘But First, Coffee’ as we don’t function properly until we have had a cup of the good stuff, even then that’s questionable! Anyway, the good news is it won and was featured in the second edition of the magazine released July 2016! This humorous design would make a perfect piece to hang in your kitchen, dining room or even bedroom or a great gift for that coffee lover in your life. The PDF contains full stitch instructions so is suitable for any level from beginner to pro. It took me a good few hours to sew and really enjoyed it, nothing complicated (apart from a few French Knots but they’re a doddle once you get the hang of them).
