And I really love “quilt math”: figuring out the most efficient way to cut out all my patchwork pieces is like a fun puzzle to me! But sometimes even I don’t really feel up to doing all the calculations. I kinda just want to throw caution to the wind, roll up my sleeves, and start sewing. This consciously hand-crafted jacket is a one of a kind gem- each piece made takes nearly 100 hours to create and refine the pattern, fit, and perfect down to the stitch. They are made and lined with patchwork quilts that are sustainably sourced and repaired in New England, creating a true experience throughout the process. This style is an adaptation of our first hand-made pattern, it’s cut in a specific way to use the entirely of the quilt and preserve any leftover fabric. When you order one of your own, It is created truly with you in mind, you’re involved throughout the entire process so this piece will be one you can cherish forever. Please note: all quilt jackets inherently have a vintage patina. This is an intentional part of the design and adds to the overall charm, beauty, and originality of these special quilt jackets. Stand out with this unique and fun pattern! Pattern includes instructions to make the quilt blocks, then just sew them directly onto your sweatshirt. Make to size. Fabric Requirements: 30 fat eighths (9� x 20�) of multicolor dark fabric 7 quarter yards (9� x WOF) of light fabric 2-1/2 yards of lining (if desired) 1/4 yard dark fabric for binding Crew Neck Sweatshirt (one size larger than normally worn)
