Separate detailed instructions are included to knit this hat either: FLAT on a pair of SINGLE POINTED needles / or IN THE ROUND on DPNs Four preemie sizes are also included in this knitting pattern to ensure the tiniest premature baby has a hat that fits perfectly. The little newborn hats shown here have been knitted in Rowan’s beautifully soft Super Fine Merino 4 Ply on 2.75mm (US2) and 3.25mm (US3) needles.
