Things I want to do
Every little girl dreams of her very own tea party. My little girl asked me the other day for one. So far I have finished the amigurumi tea pot… For a better understanding of my Crochet Patterns, please refer to my-special-crochet-abbreviations. I used: Patons Canadiana Medium 4 Yarn in colours ‘Medium Amethyst’ and ‘Pale Amethyst’. 5 mm hook (or hook needed to produce tight enough stitches to hide and hold in stuffing.) Fiber fill/stuffing Needle Round markers Notes: Hide knots and ends inside finished tea pot. Making The Smaller Pieces. Smaller pieces are made first so that you will not have to work from both ends of one ball of yarn. Tea Pot Handle Using Medium Amethyst yarn Round 1: Leaving a tail, Ch 8, sc in beg ch(to form ring).(mnr) Sc in ea ch around. (8sc) Rounds 2-15: Sc to join.(mnr) Sc in ea st around. (8sc) Round 16: Sc to join.(mnr) Sc in ea st around. (8sc) Ss to join. Fasten off leaving tail. (Tails are used for sewing pieces onto main tea pot, and for weaving in your ends.) Set aside. Weave in ends so they end up inside the tea pot. Stuffing \u0026 Attaching Smaller Pieces Flatten your project. Position your handle and spout parts as best you can. Mark where they will go.
