Hand Knit Pattern, Watch Cap, Knitting Pattern PDF, Baby thru Large Adult, Easy to Knit, Original Design, Trish Designs, Instant Download This listing is for the PATTERN ONLY of my Original Design, Watch Cap. An easy-to-knit traditional K2, P2 ribbed watch cap with folded up brim to knit in hand-painted colors or solids – either way looks great! I wrote the pattern with row-by-row instructions for ease in following, and it includes instructions for kitting either flat with a seam or in the round. Four sizes are given: 2-4 years, 4 years to Small Adult, Medium Adult and Large Adult Yardage is approximately 120 to 220 yards worsted weight yarn Pattern is written for Worsted Weight yarn, although it’s easy enough to adjust for different weights. Gauge is 5 sts per inch in stockinette stitch on US size 6 (4mm) needles. K2, P2 rib gauge will vary as ribbing stretches considerably. I knit the striped blue/green model in Lorna’s Laces “Shepherd Wool” in worsted weight – the striping happened naturally as I knitted it in the round. Bringing over 35 years of pattern writing expertise to my designs, my patterns, Trish Designs, are innovative, unique and always fun to do. The patterns are expertly written in an easy-to-follow manner with step-by-step instructions. They include color pictures, schematics with all pertinent measurements, charts where applicable and written row-by-row stitch pattern instructions. Most of my patterns are written generically with specific information as to the yarns used in the model. Others are written for specific yarns. All the patterns include complete materials information, including all yardage requirements and stockinette stitch gauges in addition to pattern stitch gauges, making it easy to substitute any yarn.
