Joy socks are knitted top down and are finished with a traditional heel flap and gusset, lace is very easy and you don’t need a chart, just with the writing instructions you will accomplish this pattern easily and fast. The sample is knit with my hand dyed peruvian alpaca, nothing better than a pair of alpaca socks, right! This Shawl is a great project for beginners. The lacepart is easy to knit and the stockinette part is perfect to watch TV.This pattern is available in german and in english!Finished measurements: Width 48 inches (120 cm), and length 26 inches (24 cm) measured from top to bottom, at deepest point, (after blocking).  Materials:****Garn: Cascade Yarn Sock75% Merino, 25% Nylon, 1 skein 400 meters/100g.Needles: Circular needles US 4 (3.5 mm)**Other: **4 stitch markers, tapestry needle, row counter (optional).Gauge: 20 sts and 38 rows to 4 inches  (10 x 10 cm), in stockinette stitch, after blocking with      US 4 (3.5mm) needles.
