LARGE Hamsa Stained Glass Suncatcher This is my design and handmade by me in my home glass studio. The Tiffany method is used by copper foiling each intricately hand cut piece of glass. The pieces are then soldered together. A black patina is applied to the solder lines. Metal curly Q’s and a beautiful faceted crystal prism is attached to the bottom of the suncatcher. Brazilian Carnauba wax is applied and buffed for a protective and shiny surface. A black chain is attached for hanging. The Hamsa Hand is an ancient Middle Eastern amulet symbolizing the Hand of God. … It can be facing up or down and it is believed to give the owner success, harmony, and protection from the “Ayin Ha’ra,” also known as The Evil Eye. NOTE: PLEASE DO NOT ATTEMPT TO HANG IT WITH A SUCTION CUP. STAINED GLASS IS TOO HEAVY FOR IT TO SUPPORT THE WEIGHT. MADE TO ORDER: Please allow 4-5 weeks for me to make this especially for you.
