Overview Product Description Crocheted Doilies:  These crocheted doilies, worked in pineapple design, can be made either of No. 30 Mercerized Crochet Cotton or of Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton. The choice of the cotton governs the size and texture of the doilies.  The large doilies may measure 17 x 24 or 24 x 36 inches.  The small doilies are 12 x 15 or 18 x 22 inches in diameter.  This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspapers and catalogs.   The pattern was marketed as Alice Brooks 7193 in 1944.  Materials: No. 30 Mercerized Crochet Cotton in (400 yard) balls and a No. 10 steel crochet hook or unbleached Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton in (700 yard) skeins and a No. 8 steel crochet hook.   The large doily requires approximately 425 yards of No. 30 cotton or 650 yards of heavy cotton.   The small doily requires approximately 215 yards of No. 30 cotton or 265 yards of heavy cotton.  Product Videos Custom Field Product Reviews

Hello Everyone! 😉 Today i’m here to share my Blooming Ivy Oval Doily chrochet pattern. This would be an elegant centerpiece, a lovely accent for your home. All you need to start is a crochet hook and some yarn or thread in the color of your choice. If you prefer to learn by watching, i have video tutorials below. Skill Level: Easy to Intermediate Materials Used: Sport weight mercerized cotton yarn, size 2 – fine. I used Madame Tricote Paris Camilla yarn in the colorway 5329 (light green). 50 grams (125 meters approx.) of yarn needed for this pattern. 3.0mm crochet hook. Scissors. Yarn needle or Latch hook for weaving in ends. Or, you can use a crochet hook. Ch1, join with a sl st. into first sc. Round 13: sl st. into next ch1 space, sl st. into next trc st., sl st. into next ch2 space, ch3 (counts as a dc), dc2tog into that same ch2 space, ch2, ch3picot, ch2, dc3tog into next ch2 space, ch2, ch3picot, ch2, dc3tog into next ch2 space, (dc3tog into next ch2 space, ch2, ch3picot, ch2, dc3tog into next ch2 space, ch2, ch3picot, ch2, dc3tog into next ch2 space)* repeat 23 times around.
