Each end set with three tin panels hand-punched in a pattern depicting a folky spread-wing eagle with 19 stars arched above and three stars spaced below, all framed by quarter- and half-fan elements. Walnut and yellow pine secondary woods. The case in an old dry red-washed surface, tins retain early cream white paint over the original green. Probably western Virginia, now West Virginia.
